aftermarket 92-93 bumpers

anyone buy a new OEM style aftermarket

where did you get?

Brand?

fitment?

price?

any of your input will be appreciated

i might end up goin to acura but seein if there is any cheaper alternatives

I didnt like teh fitment, it was a bit shot on both sides, and a large gap from teh fender to the bumper. It was about $150, i got it at the local body shop when my car was in paint.

what was the brand?

I dont know, made in taiwan

bad fitment,
oem is best.

thats a pretty general statment

well of corse oem is always best but sometimes you can get away with aftermarket… now i dont know about the bumpers but my car was wrecked before i got it and the bumper and hood where replaced with red ones (painted to match my car is green) and the fender with an aftermarket. i dont know the brand but i can find out, also my headlight was replaced with a tyc aftermarket witch you can get at any oreilys but they are bad quality for oem, the buld went in crooked and the corner light looks foged ofer and i found a tyc light for a grand prix in the junk yard and the lense was brown. but anyways back to the fender it fits perfectly and is an exact perfect copy of the oem… ill find out the brand there is a sticker on the back of it and ill let you know and you can see about the bumper

a new acura part can be ordered from Delray for about 220 bucks. shipping adds another 20-30 depending on your location.

yes it’s more expensive than a cheapass aftermarket unit, but even the comparably-priced CAPA-certified stuff isn’t an original acura part.

on things like body panels where fitment is key, it’s always best to go with the best you can afford. for another 50-60 bucks, it’s worth it to go with an original one from acura.

i work at honda and have a hook up at acura

ordered an OEM one will be in friday

i have a capa front 90-91 for sale any takers???

armed farret we should meet up man im right by base man

can i get pics of it and also what does it take to put a 90-91 on a 92-93…

i think all you have to do to go 92-3 to 90-1 is change the cover… its when going 90-1 to 92-3 that it gets complicated

just swap covers thats it

^^^ can i get pics of your bumper

i still havent taken it out of the box

ill get pics up when my new bumper support comes in
