Aftermarket seat options.

That’s it, these factory seats just wont allow me to left foot brake during autox like I would prefer. I need more leg support and shoulder support. Anyway, what has been everyone’s solution with our DA’s seat belt system regarding aftermarket seats? I would like to go to a harness eventually but for the time being I am trying to retain the factory belts and Im not sure how to fit an aftermarket seat in that.

Am I able to retain the factory seat rails/belts and bolt to an aftermarket seat?

Also what seats are you using and with what modifications, rails, belts etc.?

Pics are welcomed and encouraged. I just havent seen very many threads or info online showing a solution to this specific application.

Soooo maybe I would be interested in a harness. It would really pay off while autocrossing. I really want some bride zeta 3 seats and don’t see how the OEM belts would work properly.

I guess I would need to look into a custom harness bar for this. Anyone have a setup like this??

Personal faves… black type R integra seats… yes the recaro’s may not have enough support tho

I agree! I love those seats and the leg support is definitely there… But a set in good condition are easily $800-$1000 which is a bit more than I want to spend… and the ITR recaro knockoffs scare me. I would settle for the non-reclinable bride replicas, but the reclinable sets make me uneasy.
