AGP DB2 build

Been on this site for a while just never really post but i just picked up a 92 agp db2 a couple weeks ago and figured id make a build thread

All original in good shape minus some rust on DS qp and clearcoat peeling

Runs great has around 220k miles, honda dealership rebuilt it around 30-40k miles

Replaced the leaky cam seal and vtec solenoid gasket and threw on my kevlar plug cover

Need to shampoo seats and get a couple small pieces that are broken but other than that interior is in great shape

Its gonna be a slow build, gonna start with maintenance that needs to be done then replacing suspension bushings and coilovers

Reppin g2ic!

great platform to start, interior looks super mint. good lick with build

About how mine was when I started minus the rust. what part of NC are you in?

Man… nice find, that’s a pretty clean GS-R. I’d try to keep it as OG as possible and limit any modifications to it, but that’s just me.

How much did you get it for? Don’t be shy now.

Thanks im gonna keep it all stock other than some wheels, coilovers and a set of 1pcs

I paid a little under 3k for it

Not the best pic but installed a sunroof visor yesterday

Got a set of 1pcs, waiting on pwjdm harness to come

Nice! Love love love AGP. My daily Civic is AGP, easily my favorite Honda color. Keep it simple with the build, I passed on a very clean AGP gsr shell a few years ago and still regret it.

Got the 1pcs installed

Thanks its gonna stay stock other than wheels, coilovers, the 1pcs and fresh paint later on

So that is what it is supposed to look like. I was working on my DB1 today and I took the bumper off and found my rad support is all bent up from an accident before I bought it. It is pushed in about 1.5-2 inches… =*(

Just picked up a set of sprint hart cpf and itr brake setup for cheap! Might be up for trade/sale soon idk if i want to convert everything over just for a set of wheels

4x114?

Yea theyre 4x114, wish they were 4x100

i say restore the wheels, sell them and buy which ever wheels you desire.

How much do you think i could get for them? Ive seen them from around $800-$1500 for just the wheels i have an itr brake setup too

off the top of my head honestly I don’t know. look up how much they are going for, im sure it’s worth a pretty penny with the itr set up as well.

Lowered the teg a couple days ago, didnt take any pics when i was installing the coilovers but heres some before and after pics

Also picked this wheel up today, looking for a hub if anybody has one for sale

Congrats on a rare car, looks like it’s in nice shape!
