pics??
sorry haven’t had time to install mine since I’m in the process of making a fiberglass 4" intake from the funnel up the air box and to the manifold.
it really looks good though, kinda feel bad if it gets chipped by rocks.
cool man. how is it, does it fit ok? i wana make sure you like it. so, one thing i did on my bumper, not sure if you’re going to have to do it on yours or not, was cut the little lip at the back edge of the plastic opening in the bumper.
it fits pretty good, and does stand out from a quick glance.
I’m not sure if I will need to cut the back lip. I do have the 89 lip and it sits up to high that it doesn’t let the v stack sir right. I’m going to have to add more spacers to push the lip down.
I’ll pay pics when I’m done. I might even order a 2nd one as a spare. I know these are limited while they last.
Im still interested in one. Email for paypal?
I think that if you did a lower duct like the 90-91 and used the rolled edge like you mention then yes, it could look fine and not “unfinished” or rough. And actually, the more that I think about it, it’d be easy to cut the bumper for that. You’d want to use the duct to make a template and then use that template to mark where it gets cut. Then there’s the issue of how to attach it to the bumper. With the bumper light idea I was planning on using the same hole for the screw which mounts the bumper light.
Pics look good, but I can’t seem to get them to enlarge. How the hell can you guys deal w/ photobucket? That site is just horrible IMO.
As for the duct routing, check out these pics. As you can see, you can run the duct lower down. You wouldn’t need to cut that radiator support piece out and go straight thru it. All you’d need to do is trim a bunch of the bumper support (or use a JDM one) and then trim the lower part of the radiator support to make enough clearance.
Do you have any other pics of the KTeller exhaust you bought? I’ve been thinking more and more about getting rid of my RS*R in favor of a KTeller (or another brand, I now have a list of 3 places that sell mandrel bent kits for the DA).
how do u hook up your bumper to the car with that support setup ???
