So I recently had to replace my blower motor and when I did I noticed that the air coming from the 2 front top vents is blowing just cool air. I can only get heat when in defrost mode and it’s warm at best. Now my heat valve I have to control manual because somewhere it’s disconnected. I also touched both hoses inlet and outlet and they both are about the same temperature. Any suggestions? 1990 GS model also.
is the valve in engine bay actuating fully? youll see it on/near the firewall where the heater hoses go into it…
the temp between inlet and outlet should actually be roughly the same, with the heat on blast, and the core flowing freely. what is the coolant temp at? is the level correct?
