edit, disregard for now.
apparently it was converted to 134a, i have 3 cans of it sitting here.
gauge was reading 5-10psi on the low side line, obviously it has a leak so i will take care of it eventually.
still, the leak has to be very slow if it took over a year or so to notice it getting warmer.
sitting the last 6 months or so and being driven 2 or 3 times probably doesn’t help.
got it up to 25psi with half a can i had left and its blowing icy already,
it’s holding at ~25 psi right now, should be fine since it is only 66° F outside and it should really be done @ 70° F minimum.
probably check the psi tomorrow and top it off in a day or so if needed, i didn’t want to overfill it.
with any luck the leak is so slow that the cans will hold me over till I’m working more and can afford to dig deeper.
fingers crossed.
when i have the cash i will find the leak, fix it, replace the drier & o-rings, vac the system and refill.
