i just instaled a airmass warlock catback and it sounds horable kind of like a weedeater at low cruise speeds.and if i blip the throtleit sounds very raspee. i did make a test pipe out of my old cat though,could this make it sound this way,i do not think so because it just like there was never a cat there.i even cut of the 4.5 in tip off to see if that would help.it did very little.
any help at all would be great

Have a shop install a resonator.
there is all ready a resonator on the airmass cat back midpipe.
the testpipe amplifies the sound, so if you put a stock cat back in itll just lower the sound a little. also, it possibly burned out a little of the muffler packing (if it has packing) since a lot of the heat which gets absorbed by the cat is now passed through.
a bigger resonator will help lots, but it sucks that you have to cut through your new mandrel bent catback piping to do so…
Summit racing sells a catco highflow cat for only like $100 bolts right in, I have one, sounds great.
I took my integra up to morosso wednestday night ang ran a 16.025 1/4 mile my best yet.welded my catalytic converter back together thursday and it sounds real good,just a little rasp now.not sure if test pipe was sealing all the way.but sounds mutch better now.
