Ok so I bought a honda the other day that it has a Python 460hp alarm system in it. No fob was included. I went to Stereo King and bought a 473t remote. Came home did some research and figured out how to program it. Key on, Valet switch 9times then hold, 9 beeps then Press unlock button. That worked just fine.
But my real problem is with the alarm itself. When I arm it the lights flash really fast like 10 times, but makes no beap sound. Doors lock and led light starts blinking… I disarm it and the lights blink 2 seperate sets of 10 times and Beeps real soft 2 times… While its blinking real fast you can hear the relay under the dash going crazy, sounds like a machine gun. Is this normal???
Also when the alarm goes off it goes yeeewwww yeeeewwww twice then blinks a lot then does it again, it does not cycle threw like any other alarm system I have seen…
To start with you are not programing the remote properly.
“Transmitter/Receiver Learn Routine”
1 - Open door.
2 - Turn ign. switch on.
3 - Press and release valet/program button 8 times.
4 - Press and hold V/P button, siren will chirp and LED will flash 8 times, keep holding the V/P button.
5 - While still holding the V/P button press and release button I, [arm/lock] on the remote.
I would probably do a reboot and clear first.
Start by rebooting the brain, disconnect batt. neg. cable, wait a few min., turn ign. switch on, then reconnect the batt. and turn ign switch off.
Clear…
1 - Open door.
2 - Turn ign. switch on.
3 - Press and release V/P button 9 times.
4 - Press and hold V/P button, siren will chirp and LED will flash 9 times.
5 - Release V/P button, turn ign. switch off, brain is clear.
Go to “Transmitter/Receiver Learn Routine” and program remote, as per directions above.94

Other then that is it normal for the alarm to rapidly flash the lights multiple times and make no beaping noise?
Ok so I disconected the alarm for like 15 min earlier then plugged it back in. Followed your instructions now the alarm wont arm… Every time I hit the arm button it goes through its routine to disarm… Blinks two sets of 10 blinks (The parking lights) and unlocks it, everytime you hit the arm/disarm button.
