Alignment results?? Camber or Toe?

Hey guys well I lowered my car finally, no pics yet, but now I got a problem!!

My tires are going bald from camber wear as some people say. I say this because some people say toe eats tires and some people say camber eats tires was up? Anybody truly knows??

Well I got it and alignment today and here are the results, i payed 25 and they just fixed the toe though need to get a mber kit to be able to fix the camber.

caster was 1.6L 1.7R they said it was good
Camber is still -1.6L -2.6R (Looks the same to the eye on both eyes) :hmm:
and toe was -0.75L -0.10R and I fixed it 0L 0R…

So im going to be watching at my tires every week see how it goes. I used my car after I lowered for three weeks about 1500 miles total and started seeing a little wear on the inside already so im going to drive it another 2 weeks with that fixed and see how it goes.

I’m running about -3 degrees of camber on my car with ~0 toe(I set it myself) and have no issues with tire wear. You should be fine.

I would shim the rear so the camber is closer to the front, I got mine to -1.7 deg all the way around.

I don’t think he mentions front vs. rear. The camber #s are for left vs. right.

but wouldn’t having more camber in the front improve the handling of the car instead of having them almost the same?

That really depends on a lot of things. Mostly, what type of driving your planning on doing and what the rest of your suspension is set up like(spring rates, sway bars, etc…)

true, stiffer rear springs and a larger rear sway would do wonders for turning

Camber is still -1.6L -2.6R

A degree of difference side to side isn’t usually a good sign.

Does tire pressure do a difference? I don’t know. But everything seems alright with the naked eye.

whoh, yea thats alot if those are left and right. Get that worked out.

What are the things I should look for? I am lowered on konig blues with neuspeed springs 1.8 front 1.5 back.

low air pressure will definatly wear off the shoulders on the tires. combine a lil -camber/toe and splash of low psi and BAMM (emril) you have the perfect recipe for worn shoulders. and just the opposite too high of a psi will wear off the center of the tires. but it really comes down to you’re individual setup and driving habits. after all it is you’re car and you do the driving, so how you’re tires wear is a result of how much effort you take in maintaining them.

Hey speeddaddy thanks for the info remember me I bought your konigs blues, the ones I have installed on my car. Ride is kinda good but I had the two front shocks blown without me knowing.

hehe hey man i didnt know this was you’re sn. :werd:
