All belt hardware not coverd!!

O.K. folks. This is what I found out about the electric motor that controls the shoulder belt movement.I got in touch with the Acura people that handle customer service nationwide. They told me that the electronic parts are only coverd for four years or 50,000 miles. They are not coverd for the life of the car.The only thing that is coverd are the belts and associated hardware.I still have some repairs that I will have done due to a recall that was done many years ago.But If I want the motor fixed,I either have to pay Acura $399.00 for the part,or get it from a salvage yard.I have some parts on the car now that came from a salvage yard,so I guess that’s what I’ll have to do.

The electric motor that controls the belt mech IS associated hardware. I had all that stuff on mine replaced 2 years ago when I had 140k or so miles. FREE OF CHARGE!

Are you talking about the electric motor that is behind the panel right behind the door?Just want to be sure that we are talking about the same part.If we are ,and you had yours replaced free, then I have more work to do with Acura. They told me that since I could still turn the buckle back with that little tool, that it was not coverd.
