does anyone own a pair of 90-93 integra all clear and i mean all crystal clear tail lights. i saw some on ebay before and was wondering if they are legal because there is no red on them at all. the way i see it is you would have to have red bulbs put in right? i have seen only one teg with them which was a black one and they look pretty good. do you guys think they’d look good on a white car?

i saw exactly what you are talking about on ebay and i want em badddd. yes they are illegal, eventhough u use red bulbs from a distance they will show pink not red. i was gonna get them and just spray em red at the bottom amost like the 91 style Tail lights. Or spray half red/half amber. just my opinion and thoughts. Good luck

If you’re really hell bent on all clear, buy red LEDs for the tail light/brake lights. They will show all red w/ no pink. Trust me, I’ve had them in for a while.
And if you are looking for ideas on painting them, here’s two examples I’ve had (or currently have) on my car:

Now as you can see on my current ones, the bottom half is clear. And I have red LEDs in them. I’ve had many many many cops behind me since installing these and not one has ever pulled me over. The LEDs are nice and red with no pink, and are more then bright enough to be legal.

I’m not aware of anyway to clear the bottom halves of the tail lights. The top part that is amber can be cleared bc the amber is a seperate peice and can be removed. As far as I know from the bottom, the plastic housing itself is red, therefore making it clear wouldn’t be possible.
The clear tail lights on eBay sell for around $48 I think. Paint can be picked up for $5-$20/can depending on what paint you use. And then masking tape and a razor blade…It’s a relatively cheap mod to do and then you can customize the tail light/painting anyway you want.
