As of this year and at least by Texas state law if not others…all 1990-93 Integra’s are considered classics 20-24 yrs old
Way to go everyone for keeping them alive!

I thought a classic starts at the 25 year old mark?
think it varies by state…
Texas is
classic 20-24
antique 25 and older
8sed to be anything over 21 years in Cali… now they don’t honor it as they’d rather get all the old smog makers salvaged and have us on a bus… Only way you get labeled as a classic is to have an american made gas guzzler in OE condition… then you have to register for and be approved for the coveted “Black” plates which symbolize classics & Antiques… OFC then you would also have to circumvent the classic hot rodders who would just as soon run ya off the road than look at your “Rice grinder” at a show LOL
OFC this is just my opinion and probably not 100% factual, but I do have yet to see any Japanese car out here rocking the classic or antique plates… let alone be given the acknowledgement of being anything like a classic car… only ones who see our cars as classics are other Honda/Acura fans and they are quick to give props to a good looking DA that is still road worthy
20 years and your car can receive collector or hobbyist plates here in WI for a one time fee of $200-250. No more yearly tabs renewal required.
Its just weird to see them as classics or collectors… though there aren’t as many around anymore these days… its sad because maybe in 5 years or more finding used parts or cars will be hard to come by (at least by me anyway).
Yeah I think for gasoline powered vehicles in California it has to be 1975 or older.
Good Job peoples. For keeping those Integra DA living. Especially a DB2.
Here in florida it use to be 20 years…they changed it to 30. This just means ill be driving a da9 that much longer till i can finally rock an antique plate. I dont mind at all, maybe thts when ill stop building/saving them.

So both of mine are classics? I thought in texas once it was a classic you didn’t have to do the emissions part of the inspection…or is that when it’s an antique?
i just got my classic from the paint shop, looks purdy again
15 years for pa to be a classic car
not to be the idiot, (but fuck it) what is the legal difference between “classic” & “antique”
