well…I finally figured out what i broke that day:

  • bearings on the intermediate shaft
  • Front passenger side upper ball joint (luckily i had spare a-arms)
  • Front driver lower ball joint bushing (i just changed them with ES ones, too!)
  • Both rear shock ball joints (I might have to replace the whole rear shock :()

yea…tell me about it. Everytime i take my car out to drag, something drivetrain related breaks. :frowning:

The event wasn’t timed…The event was to simulate an “underground street racing” environment. Basically the driver that crosses the finish line first wins.

Trap speed was displayed on a reader board at the finish line, though. I was averaging 120-130km/h.

There will be more planned, but they are currently having issues with Boundry Bay because of all the extra media attention. The next one is scheduled for Jul2nd (tentative date and will probably change).

i’ll head out to mission for drag atleast once this year, but my heart lies with road racing :smiley: So much more fun. But i’ll be sure to bring extra cv shafts, since i seem to break one evertime.

Too bad i cant watch it… the screen keeps freezing but the sound is fine, IDK. Ill be rocking the same set up later this winter… hopely if i have the money after Little Chris is Born lol

hell i just noticed this thread, i was curious, another guy asked but i dont think you answered (sorry if you did) what motor are you running, and what kind of vtec controller are you using cuz that vtec sounds cool as hell, too bad i’m not a fan of vtec. i like LS power.

all-motor B20/vtec:

I had a 180whp, all-motor LS build before this build, but i wanted more streetable power N/A, so i had no choice but to go VTEC.
