Sup guys, I’m new to G2IC so I figured I would introduce my self and also introduce you to my DA.
My name is Elder and I’m from AZ. I found a nice, unmolested, and non salvage integra RS for dirt cheap. After talking with the owner a few times, I ended up getting it for less then his asking price. The car is a 1990 Integra RS with AC, power steering and clean box A title. Only down side is the auto transmission.
Here it is when I brought it home.
Picked up a set of 1pc headlights, 92-93 taillights, and took out some S2K seats I had.
Picked up a 92-93 front bumper with OEM lip. Along with some emblems and rear mudflaps.
Waiting to get some BBS wheels I have redrilled then powder coated.
Also thinking of painting the DA but haven’t decided on a color, and started gathering everything needed for a 5spd swap. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks man, I’ve actually have been giving alot of thought to just a respray in the stock silver blade metallic. Also ordered a set of DA6 sidemarkers and will probably get an HIC rear visor.
So I took a trip down to the local wrecking yard for some misc stuff I need for my 5spd swap. I got the pedal assembly, clutch cable, P28, shift linkage w/ shifter and also picked up an experimental engine for my build. Should be super fun when it’s finished. Will post up pics later on.
damn you really went to town, great progress… i would keep it that colour, silver is mad rare for a DA, but it’s truly up to you… i would also source a 92-93 rear bumper to complete the 92-93 conversion… anyway keep it up and look forward to seeing the 5spd conversion!
Thanks man, I’m really thinking of keeping it the stock color. But my other option is Dark Amethyst Pearl. I didn’t know there was a diferance between the 90-91 rear to a 92-93 rear other then taillights. Will have to look into that.
Thanks, it’s kinda rare to find a clean titled straight bodied Honda now adays.

yeah man, the 92-93 has a flared “lip” at the bottom of the bumper, it’s subtle but if you see it you’ll definitely notice it
I actually went to the wrecking yard yesterday and picked up a 92-93 rear. That flared lip looks way better then what’s on it now. Just waiting to get them sprayed.
Thanks man, it’s slowly coming along. Still haven’t had time to start working on my swap.
Only thing I need is the tranny but I’m saving up for an LSD YS1. Seats are super comfy and lower then the stock ones, I just need to redo the rails. It’s currently bolted down with 3 bolts so I’m gonna have to get creative and make new rails for them.
So I haven’t really had time to do anything to the DA yet, but I’m probably going to start prepping for paint with int the next few days. Everyone has told me to stay with the Blade Silver, but I think I’m going to go a different route. New color will be DVP from a 2000 GSR. Can’t wait to get it painted and put back together with the BBS wheels.
