All those extra gsr needed parts for a girdle...why

why do i need a new oil pick up, windage tray, mail bolts…all that?

thanks

would any one happen to have any of this/?

I am going to assume that you mean the G3 GSR parts needed to make the LS block girdle, correct?? If so, Click here.

That link is full of VERY good info that lead me to knowing everything I needed to know about doing the job. You will also realize that it is going to be WAY easier to use the Z10 block girdle instead of the GSR one since there will be NO machine work needed…

Now it is time for you to go study…

thanks for your info!

Actually youre supposed to have dowells machined into the z-10 girdle and the mains and then get the mains line honed to make sure that the main bores are straight. The designer of the girdle (FFGeoff) on honda tech strongly suggests having the work done. Also search in the archives for member inlinefour, he has a good write up and pictures of what needs to be done.

And to answer your ?. The GS-R oil pan is deeper, the 6 main bolts are longer, the pickup is different and so is the windage tray to accomidate the extra space from the girdle sitting on your mains. HTH
