alpine typr-r's

has anybody had any experience with these subs? I cant make up my mind between the alpines or kicker compvr’s. what do you think?

Personally i’d go with alpine, cuz i am an alpine diehard fan!

R-Types are power hungry, they need lots of juice.

ive had both subs in tens. dirty is right the Type Rs do need more power but they are much louder and cleaner. definately better.

whats the best price you have found on them? i searched around a bit and i found that etronics.com is best!!!

best price ive found is 75.00 each for the 10" DVC. But that is throughmy discount at work so i guess that doesnt count. LOL. ive never looked for a price because i can orr straight from Alpine for a rediculous discount, even less than 75.

ok i have a Kicker800.2 amp. do you think that it will suppy two type-r 12’s good enough?

It depends on what you like, if you want more sq go for the Alpines, if you want more spl go for the kickers. The kickers pound, but they don’t have much sq. I don’t use either personally, but I can’t say anything bad about my friends type r(s).
