Alternator light ON when at high RPM

Whenever I drive or rev over 5k RPM the alternator light would come on and the car would stutter a little. Does anyone know what might be causing this. The light would go off when I lower the RPMs.

the alternator going bad might cause this. Mine did the same thing about a month ago. Light came on after 4k rpm. Had to replace the alt with a rebuilt one. Start saving up some money and keep some jumper cables in your trunk. :slight_smile:

Dont go to long like that, youll ruin your battery. Then youll have 2 thngs to replace.
