The alt. fuse is in the engine bay fuse box but what plug, “if i jiggle around the plug it will work fine” are you talking about??? 94

the alt. fuse is not in the engine bay its next to the kick panel…
and the plug that im talking about is the green one that plungs into the alt. that has three wires run out of it…

im wondering if the plug themselfs can get fu@@ed up…

two wires in the plug might be touching, i say cut the plug and put on a new one that might fry something in the long run.

OIC, your talking about fuse 24 - 15A, [hot in run and start] in under dash fuse box, alt. “turn on” power, and the alt. plug.

Then the problem is either the plug itself, or more likely, [if plug in good shape] the alt. plug terminal.

If the plug looks like it is in good shape, replace the alt. 94

well when the problem first started i tried many things…
at the end i did change the alt. and yeah it did work for about two days and then started to do the same thing…
this is when i knew it wasnt the alt…

and thats when i found out that if i jiggle the wires from the plug it would work… the plug itself looked fine, but yesterday i went to the junk yard and got a plug…
i put it on and i drove all of last night and it was fine…
so im guessing it was the plug but i will keep you guys posted…
