I have a b18b swap in my 90 integra running b18a dizzy ecu and harness, my alternator is not working and I want to know if it matters what alternator I get. Do I need the one for the motor which is around a 1996-98 or do I need a 1990 alternator ?? Please help
You’ll need to check the alternator to find out. Did you do the engine swap or was it in there before you got the car? You can use either alternator when you do that swap but if you use the newer one then a new wiring connector needs to be added. When the swap was done they either used the original alternator to your car or changed the wiring to use the new alternator.
