Is the alternator interchangeable between B18 <-> B17?

The B18’s are 90 Amp and the B17’s are 70 Amp other than that i believe they are the same, so if you putting a B18 Alt. on a B17 you should be ok but the B17 Alt. on your B18 would not be ideal
i was looking for that info but couldn’t find it. seems to me like g2 have 65amp and 94+ up have 90amp. correct? which leads to my next question. my alt died today, could i use a 94+ alt?
