Amber Turns and All Red Tails

Question, I was thinking about doing the amber turn signals and all red tail mod, BUT I have found nothing about paint durability in the SEARCH. I have access to Tamiya clear paints.

My main question is, how do you think it would hold up to a Wisconsin winter??

Also on th all RED tails do you paint the inside of the lens or the outside?? I am asumming outside, just want to make sure.

Yeah I understand both are in teg tips. I have read those tips numerous times. Besides the RED TAILS teg tips aren’t very descriptive.

My question is on DURABILITY and does anyone have closeup pics of all red painted tails?? I am just sketchy since I now only have one set to work with…

Body Pros guarantees their candied tails to never chip/fade/wear. You may want to call and ask them.

Another question can you paint the stock tails 91’ all red?? Will it look right?? Anyone done this?? Or do most people paint the completely clear tails??

mine is a 92 and i have all red tailight except for the lil part of the
reverse light… it look good as for wat i can say … i got mine painted wid japanese tailight paint which never fade or wear out… so i say it good… HTH

why not just paint the inside?

Please please please do not paint your tails all red – leave the reverse light area as white/clear. I’ve posted this many times on other threads that have come up about it. Safety/Legal issue. I’m sure you can figure it out.
