Model numbers would probably help
i was able to get them
the Rockford Fosgate Model : p3002 2ch amp
Pioneer model GM-6300F 4ch amp
hey i’m MECP certified so i know car audio pretty well. I can tell you which amp will be better for you set-up once you tell me what your wiring it to. if your powering 2 subs, components(car speaker contains woofer and tweeter), or coaxial speakers (mids with no tweeter). The rockford would be really good if you wire it up with an 8 gauge wiring kit to dual 4ohm subs.
but if your powering your interior speakers get the pioneer 4channel which also has the ability to be bridged giving more power :burnout:
haha yeah im clueless to many things as of now
:[
i appreciate your help
my brother just gave me his car and so far everything is fine
just needs new system…
i purchased infinity 6022i
and now i want maybe just 1 10 inch sub you know?
new audio face ?
what would you recommend?
something good but price range in the lows?
I’m in high school still and have a part time job making little money
what would be a good setup sub amp and audio face wise?
thanks for you help!
[LEFT]aha its okay after you spend some time reading and researching car audio then you’ll learn your way around it.
okay for a system that’s reasonably prices and will offer things such as amp options and good sound for a limited budget id recommend…
Deck - DEH-2200UB
Price - 149.99
It will have all the options you need for a simple sound system.
Pioneer is my favorite choice of decks, because i love their built in equalizer. This deck will have a 3 band which will be good enough to start with and you’ll be able to tune your subs (lows), mids, and highs.
Subwoofer - 1 12inch Kicker CompVr or 1 12inch Kicker Comp
Price - Compvr = 149.99 Comp = 99.99
The compvr will handle more power than the comp and hit a little harder but the basic comp does hit really well for the price. With the 1 comp hooked up right to a 2-channel or monoblock amp then you’ll have a really nice hitting system. Kicker subs are built to be abused so they rate the wattage low. the comp says it will peak at 300watts, but don’t be afraid to feed it 500watts, but just tune the frequency around 63hz.
Amplifier - ANY 2-CHANNEL or MONOBLOCK (p3002 2ch amp)
Watts - At least 500 watts rms
This amp will make the 12 inch kicker hit well and make you bump in your high school parking lot You’ll get the looks from all the haters  lmao[/LEFT]
remember eBay is your friend for lower prices on some name brands also take a look at crutch field to get some ideas.
wow thanks for your help guys i really appreciate it !
ill looking for these products saving what i got and

i was looking on crutchfield and saw these?

is the DEH-2200UB still better than these?
I would pick the Alpine, [IMO still the best bang for the $ HU] although Kenwood does also make a good product, I am no fan of Pioneer.
Crutchfield is a good choice for online buying as it is an authorized online dealer for the products they sell, meaning you will get manufactures warranty on products you purchase from them, this is not the case for most online sites.
I mention this because you quoted $75 for a R/F 2ch amp and $60 for a Pioneer 4ch amp, kind of cheap.
I understand that you are on a tight budget, but buying from unauthorized dealers just because the price is lower can end up costing you more in the long run, there is also no guarantee that what you are buying is not refurbed, sold for salvage or down right fake.
Warranty will also be an issue, although all will offer some kind of warranty, read the fine print.
Your far better off “building” the system over time, maybe spending a little more, then trying to do it all at once.
However you end up going about it, decide what you want to end up with and work towards that, don’t forget the retail outlets in your area, there are lots of very good deals out there nowadays.
With any audio system the source, [HU/radio/CD/DVD and so no] is the most important and critical piece of equipment, make sure the HU you get is the one that has the capability/features you want and need, EG; if you want to be able to control sub bass independently from the rest of the speakers, make sure the HU has sub bass control, if you have an iPod, iPod control would be a good option, and so on.
You have already got a set of Infinity REF6022i, [for the front doors I assume], these 2ohm speakers will work very well off a properly wired HUs internal amp, but best results are had when driven by a 75W RMS, [per ch] amp, an amp to drive them can always be added later.
Amplification is your second most important piece of the audio system, pick your amp(s) carefully, there are a couple of “rules” to go by…
It is better to be overpowered then it is to be underpowered.
A ratio of 3:1 sub bass wattage to high-pass wattage should be a minimum.
Speakers, although very important, should be the last thing on your list.
We can give you advice on HUs and amps, what is good and what is bad, brand wise, EG; Alpine, Kenwood and Pioneer, [there are more] are good, Dual, Boss and Sony, [there are more] are crap, we can even recommend speakers, but in the end it is you that has to “like” the sound of a speaker.
Above all else, no matter the brand, the wattage the number of components of the system, how much, [or little] you spend it is the installation that will make the biggest difference in SQ, [sound quality] and SPL, [volume], a shitty install can make the “best” system sound like dodo, on the other hand a proper install can make an “entry level” system sound very good.
Take your time, do it right, in the end you will be glad you did. 94
Thank you FCM.
well i decided to go with
Alpine CDA-105
