Ok so everytime I’m driving I hear this annoyng noise that sounds like crickets. Anytime I go over a bump or the car is idling I hear it and it sound’s like its coming from the speakers. I’m not sure if this is where I 'm supposed to post this but any help on what it coulb be would be much appreiciated.
Them darn alligator clips holding the hatch shelf on, the one that covers the wiper motor. Some people stuff foam tape between the crevases back there. I took mine completely off, squirted a load of shoe-goo in between the grips that grab the hatch metal tabs and scraped the crap out of my arms fitting it back on. Then I closed the hatch gently, reached in from the backseat and propped the shelf up a little for the night. No more squirrels.
See if the noise is coming from you gauge cluster. I had this on my old teg, the speedo cable would make that annoying noise, it gradually got worse. I took teh cable out, cleaned and regreased it. I think there was a writeup on g2ic on it , check tegtips.
