another db2 attempt!

i’ve been here forever, just a new name as of last year, i used to be bryan24207

well after finding damage on the last db2 and wanting to start a business that never happened, i am back with my now 4th try lol… got myself another 1993 GSR, this one is 100% original, 1 owner car out of colorado with only 155k miles on it and a MINTY INTERIOR! it does have a few rust spots but i am planning on getting them fixed and the car repainted in the oem AGP color. previous owner put black over the green on the moldings, not sure why! lol here is some crappy cell phone pics for now

mint AGP i kinda like the moldings painted black…

some like it, some don’t. i am one of those guys who does not like it lol… even on my old db1 build i color matched them

AGP’s look better with black trims in my opinion

guess its just me, i don’t like it, plus it didn’t come from the factory like that so i wanna change it back lol

color match

looks like it depends on the color of the wheel and tint tbh

very nice buy.

Nice pick up! I agree with you, they look best with color matched moldings :bowthank:

itll be awhile till it gets painted and stuff, my goal is to take my sweet ass time with this car, maybe then i will keep it long enough to really enjoy it, i have a bad habit of letting cars go right away. so if i take my time making this one in to what i want it to be, i should keep her around for awhile lol… i do daily drive it as of right now tho and its a fun lil car

i got ALOT accomplished on the db2 today…

change the cam plug to a skunk2 one
replaced the vtec solenoid gasket
replaced the valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals
replaced the oil pan gasket
new oil filter and fresh oil

i was however pretty sad to find the oil in the car had been there for 2 years… not many miles but still old as hell… on to the crappy cell phone pics the spare b17 head is for sale if anyone wants it lol

Damn, Bryan. I can’t imagine doing that oil pan, on the floor. I know most of you guys don’t have a choice. Guess I’m lucky to work in a dealership, and have a lift at my disposal.

Glad to see you back, man.

Super clean. So beautiful.

it actually wasn’t bad at all to do on the floor… job went alot smoother than i anticipated…

but i am pretty sure i got a leak in the power steering either the compressor or that main line that runs to the rack… very small leak but still enough to irk me and make me mad about it

Finding a honda that hasn’t been ruined or stolen in colorado is a super rare score

lol yea that’s what i’ve heard.

due to a new goal thats popped up, and thats being debt free minus my tlx and mortgage. i stored the car away, lowered the insurance, and now she will just sit while i search for some parts and pay stuff off. sold my hayabusa today so that made a BIG cut in the mtn of debt i accrewed since i bought my house last year.

also grabbed a personal box as my birthday present which is next week on the 11th

Priorities first! Good man. How much did you pick up that personal box for?

Mine is still in the garage sitting on stands as a shell. Got my Gramlights back so once its on the ground, it’s going for paint. People will be so butthurt when they see I am changing the color.

damn i remember seeing you on here during my db1 build GAmedic lol…

and i got the personal box for $130 shipped… i also got a line on another one that i might get well just to have a spare.
