the trans and rear hasport 70a mounts finally went on
hardrace rear trailing arm bushings finally went on
hardrace rear toe kit finally went on
and finally all new slotted rotors and pads from r1 concepts went on as well…
here is some pics from the other day when i paid someone to come wash the car at home. they did an amazing job for $25
Beautiful car man, Love this thread BTW. I was wondering if you had any fitment issues with the inlet muffler side of your exhaust? I have the same one and it seems to almost sit directly on the rear upper control arm. It rattles pretty bad, and I don’t see any way of maneuvering it around. Seems the rubber mounts are holding it pretty tight. Any advice?
no everything fit perfectly, only touching issue i have is with the exhaust and the shifter… but thats common when running a larger exhaust and a short shifter
track hangs! and the car managed to podium… the car was tuned on hondata the night before but had ecu issues the next morning so it is back on stock tune… got 2nd place and lost to first place by .17 seconds… man if it had the tune it woulda been game over… oh well… on to the pics lol
well i am back from vacation, had to cut it short cuz wife needed to get back to work to be promoted.
had a new mishimoto radiator and hoses waiting for me
spoon thermostat and thermo switch
hawk hps pads
exedy stage1 organic clutch and pressure plate, flywheel will be here friday
well radiator, thermostat, fan switch install went flawlessly and fast… i also finally took out the damn washer fluid tank since i don’t think i have ever squirted them… just waiting for flywheel to come so that can all get done! was so glad my spoon radiator cap fit onto the mishimoto radiator
the old set up had my temps hitting 201 degrees and the fans came on late as shit, now they come on a 177 and car stays around 176-178
flywheel finally came, so time to get busy again, new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and since already in there a new oem rear main seal… car feels great with this new set up! just need to get the tune locked in and the car should be a ton of more fun to drive
just a better pic, nothing really new… i did find an ef rack bushing adapter set, so will be ordering a new rack, tie rods, sway bar end links, rack bushings, lower ball joints, lower control arm bushings and gonna grab a spare subframe and get it cleaned and painted to make the swap over a bit easier. and look better plus add some longevity to the cars life
first important piece to the rack swap has came! man i am stoked to get this project underway. i am gonna try not to rush it like i do everything else as we do have holidays coming up lol
