Another oil light issue.

So lately since it is been getting warm outside when I put the key in the ignition and turn the car “on” and not start it, sometimes the oil light will not come on at all.
Well this happened today and all the sudden the oil light started blinking at a steady pace when I started the engine. I turned off the car, then restarted it and it went away.
As far as oil pressure in the engine goes, it appears to be just fine. This is the first time the light started blinking though.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?
Remember, when it is warm outside, sometimes the oil light will not come on when turning the key to the “ON” position.

My friend had a 1989 Acura legend, and it blinked when he overfilled it. Had like 2 quarts over.

oil is at dead full nothing over or lower.

Well I just read somewhere people have had issues with the oil light related to the ICU.
Just pulled mine and found 4 bad solder joints. Other than that my ICU looks to be previously re capacitor-ed and is really clean. Re soldered them and put everything back. Turned the ignition to “on” without engine running and the light is on like it should be. So far no blinking oil light either.
Lets hope this fixed it.
