UPDATE:
As it turns out, I did after all, have full coverage insurance. My mother changed it from liability to full coverage and forgot to tell me. Because of this they opted to payout $3,200 for my shell. I provided pictures of what my car looked like with all the parts and such and thats what they offered me.
Despite all of the support from g2ic and talking with friends, I decided to take the offer and buy another car. My family is getting bigger and I need something more roomy like a Van. I set my eyes on a 2001 Odyssey and still have the B18C1 to drop into another car. Maybe another 93 Ls or even a hatch.

So check out this crazy shit. After my car was stolen I got into the habit of looking at the local craigslist ads for parts. Well after a few weeks of this I just kinda stopped. After the insurance offered the money, I began looking again, but for a car this time. And wouldnt you know it, there it was.
http://bakersfield.craigslist.org/cto/1640186332.html This guy just got caught slippin. I called him up to find out that he sold that car. But to be honest everything that was posted was stolen off my car. Even the right taillight.

well all in all im glad it worked out for you man. maybe you could drop that gsr into the van…just playin. damn that sucks about that cl add. thats pretty messed up man. hes also pretty dumb for making it so obvious. gl with a future build

What insurance company do you have?

I am glade to hear you had full coverage make all that much better an for the pay out that sounds right to me. Sounds like you had AAA or maybe statefarm

So did you call the police about this? I read the CL post but wheres the proof that its yours? A gut feeling is not good enough.

If you’re going to have insurance total the car, find out how much they would charge you to buy it back from them. When my car was totalled, I got it back for $700. If that’s the case, you can buy it back and then part it out to get more money out of it. Look into it if it isn’t too late already.

Hell wouldn’t the picture of the car be enough???

I understand that I need proof, but the way these guys work is pretty stupid. First of all its too many coincidences that add up. Everything except for the “Slaughtered disk brakes” were stolen off my car. Even the GSR wiring and ECU. Not to mention the right brake light was broken and now its fixed. They only stole the right brake light. I’ve contacted the authorities and left a message for the Auto Theft task force detective but havent heard anything yet. As far as insurance goes, it’s already been hauled off to their yard for salvage. Its pretty much a bare shell anyway. I took off everything that was worth any money.

State Farm. They hooked me up pretty good considering it was a 17year old car with 250k miles on it, with no motor.

Rear hatch w/glass+Spoiler
cargo cover(tan)
Speaker covers front/rear
Sk2 front Camber kit balljoint(They didnt steal it)
Chrome door handles
Shift linkage w/Es bushings
rear view mirror
Side mirrors
Various interior plugs and switches

Thats pretty much it.
