I was wondering if anybody had dropped in a B16A into their Integra’s?? Tell me you’re symptons in what it went though to get the full effect (as in full power). I just wondered if you had any problems with it.

Just buy a b20b… will save you money and make your car faster.
I dont think the loss in tourqe is worth it… thats just my opinion.

b20 does no good without the vtec head.
b16a kicks ass. its fun factor is much higher than the b18a. and you dont have to worry about hurting it! i just raced my friend in a stock b18a and i beat him by 1 second and 2 tenths in the 1/4. -Dan

Not so… it makes mroe hp and more torque than a b18 Or you could just turbo it…
jdm b16a here… but the VTEC is not hooked up:( I need all the extra wires to hookup to the ecu, and on top of all that my stock Ls tranny is garbage… damn I need more money

You have no idea
You can do a lot with a JDM b16a in a teg. Then engine has so many options availiable to it. CTR and ITR cams are really important, and if you don’t want to get valve springs you can still safely pick up some hp by just installing the intake cam. A 4-1 header is really important to pick up some torque (on avg. 4lbs at the wheels on a JDM b16a). With a decent setup you’ll be a lot faster N/A then a b18a.
