any one use the Stage 2 Exedy clutch?

i was wondering if anyone has this clutch and could give some insite on how driver friendly it is? ima have about 250 ish HP but want some clutch that isnt gona kill my leg and be a pain to drive… also do you have the 3 puck or what kind do you have? thanks alot…!

i would also like to know this, im gonna do crowers 403’s and a P&P on the head soon followed by a 50 shot so i need a clutch that will hold up but not really crazy to drive since this is my daily driver. Also im either gonna use a fidanza or prolight flywheel. Also recomend other clutches or if maybe the stage 1 will be fine

ive got a ACT Stage 2 clutch. its nice  lol

not sure if its 3 puck or not…?

its reallly not that bad, it is a bit tougher, but not all that terrible.

i have a ‘few’ mods, and i can chirp a few gears…lol.

also have my prolite flywheel going on soon, if the shop ever gets done. then i will realllly let you know how the clutch is

how much did that ACT run you? i know that ACt clutches seem to be more pricey then others. I know that they redesigned the pressure plate from stock but still

not sure, paid for it with all the rest of my swap. prob ran me around 400$?

just a guess

clutch

Dont buy the act, I have an exedy stage 2 with flywheel in my 92 teg and in my boosted civ with b18b, Ive never had a clutch related problem in years since I went with exedy…

ats wrong with my ACT!!?!?!?!?

:squint:

joe

Im sure nothings wrong with it, but the exedy reliability has won me over any other clutch…

well the ACT reliability has won ME over

actually ive only had the swap for about 3 months.

its been reliable sor far, lets see how it handles after the stage II head work
