I have a 92 GS Hatchback. I’m getting small pools of water in the very back corner on each side of the car on the metal floor below the tail lights. I thought it was leaking down the radio antenna on the left side because the power antenna is broken. On the right side there is a drain tube running down the channel of the inner fender. I don’t know what it drains but it was disconnected from the rubber outlet at the bottom. I caulked the antenna and reconnected the drain on the right side but after a rain yesterday the little pools of water have returned. It is not much water, very little on the right side and a bit more on the left. On the left it is enough to eventually soak the pads on the spare wheel cover. Looking at the channels/grooves on the outside of the weather strip, I think I can see some small cracks or a separation of the metal seam. Maybe not. Anyway, I thought I would ask if anyone else has had this before I do anymore experimenting. I will probably have to get into the car while my wife sprays it with a hose so I can see where the water is coming from.
