Anyone from colorado

Hey guys i know theres a bunch of people from colorado on here so this is why i am asking . Anyways im thinking about moving to there closer to the next year.

My question(s) is is there any one place more desired by the majority of you guys?

Im looking for a reasonable area to rent in since it will be just me moving.(please keep in mind)

If there is a more desired area what town(s) would you reccomend?

Is it worth buying a snowmobile if i get out there i do it now and just love it. But the snows are scattered here in wisconsin.

Is there any areas thta have a huge skatepark population in a small area at all?

There are lots of places that I WON’T live in, but I doubt my reasons would matter to you.

I think you could justify a snowmobile if you also have a truck and trailer to get it where the snow is.

Any where in the Denver metro area you should be okay for skate parks.

If you start looking at areas, post them here and we’ll tell you how ghetto those areas are.

Alright sounds like a plan stu thanks. Maybe you could tell me areas to stay away from for sure. any reasons may be a great reason not to move there. Any input is much appreciated!

Aurora has good parts, way east, but most you should be leery of.

Alright maybe ill have to take a longer vacation to check out a bunch of places.

I personaly would stay out of aurora. it does have some good areas but overall its crap.

lately the north end of denver(Thronton, westminster, Broomfield and North Glen)is a nice area but have been plaged with car thefts lately.

on the west side is arvada (not to sure about that area) golden and littleton both have lots of quite residential and shoping options low crime rate and is closest to ski resorts and the casinos

South denver is a nice area (I-25 and Colorado Blvd) further south (Centenial, Parker) are nice areas as well from what I hear.
Personaly, I love the Capitol Hill/downtown area if your into the city life…

Damn blowin my mind with thoughts. I have a buddy that lives in aurora. Went to school with him said it was a decent area. But im definently takin your advice over him since hes only been there a year maybe. Thanks for the input ill do some more searching then.

East Arvada is ghetto, Lakewood near Colfax Ave is ghetto, don’t live too close to Federa from about 108th down to about Hampden/285 (that’s a good 30 mile stretch).

Keep in mind that when we say an area is crap, or ghetto, that the WORST part of Colorado, is damn nice compared to some places in the midwest or the coasts. There aren’t really places where the cops don’t come or anything like that.

agreed. were not south compton in the late 80’s…

if you find a place that you seem to like, post up some of the nearest cross streets and we can help you decide if thats the area you realy wnat to be in.

if it counts, most of us g2’ers are on the north side :smiley:

Hell yeah i was leaning more towards the northern part anyways. Easier for me to drive back home if i wanted too.
