If You Decide To Leave The P/S Rack Alone And Just Remove All Of The Other Components You “Have To” Route The Original Pressure Line Into The Return Hose. Seal Up the System And Leave As Much Fluid In There As You Possibly Can (No Reservoir Needed). The Actual Action Of Turning The Steering Wheel Left To Right Will Pump The Fluid Through The Remaining Lines And Keep The Rack Lubricated.
Or
You Can Swap Out Your Power Rack With A Manual Rack From A 90-91 Civic/CRX. These Are A Direct Swap But You Have To Swap Over The Integra Inner Tie Rod Ends Onto It Or The Rack Will Quite Simply Be Too Short.
I Have Done Several Of These For Roadrace Cars And They Feel Great. It’s Much Easier To Park/Drive Slowly With The Manual Rack But If You Don’t Mind A Workout The Bypassed Power Rack Will Work Okay, It Just Doesn’t Give The Greatest Feedback.
I’m a novice, so i’m going to word this really vague …but i think you understand what i’m saying. IF I just talk off Rack. Will i HAVE TO seal everything in that particular fashion that you stated?

SoyRacer: I have heard this suggestion before from others, but was never given a practical method in which to re-route the lines. Have you used an Earls fitting and some hose, or actually some how re-routed the stock parts.
Jason, you’re insane!
Please Note: This is coming from a guy who wore the same pair of shoes for +2 years…DAMM NEAR EVERYDAY!!!

I was attempting this swap today and I see that the shaft is smaller in diameter on the Civic rack where it bolts up to the rear crossmember on the passenger side.
With the help of ryank we found out to turn the steering wheel lock to lock on the Civic is 3.88 turns as opposed to 3.53 turns in the G2 Integra. This would make the steering harder at low speeds than just removing the p/s belt.
I am now on a quest to find a manual rack that will bolt right up with a smaller gear ratio. Any help is certainly appreciated:D
