I have a friend who is all into american-muscle and trucks. He really hates foreign cars and calls them all “rice”. He told me that he thinks APC makes some good products but just know what it is exactly before you buy it, just because he’ll give me his opinion on whether it’s good or not. He also told me that Pimp My Ride uses all APC seats on the cars in the show, I laugh at most of the cars on the show, except the entertainment/electrical stuff inside (Madd Mike is a genious). So yeah, anybody have an opinion on APC products, their seats more specifically? :hmm: Cuz, I think my friend might be biased…a little…

Actually I did search, there’s nothing on apc seats, just matrix seats. If you would actually try the search before you tell someone else to, you’d know this. Finally, with regard to your comments about Madd Mike, I can just say I’ve been doing custom installation work for years. I started experimenting with such things at approx. 13 years old. Ever since then, I’ve done countless custom installs, including audio/video/games/surveillance, and having done that makes me somewhat of an authority on the subject. I’m not saying I know it all by any means, but I do know good work, and I for one wouldn’t let Madd Mike anywhere near a vehicle of mine. I don’t think I’m the only one with this opinion.
I know how to read, at the end of THAT SAME sentence I asked about apc seats. Don’t throw that at me if YOU yourself are guilty of the exact same thing. I was asking about the products in general to get a feel for the work they do, then the seats SPECIFICALLY to see what that product was like. And, I have tons of friends who’ve been doing “custom” work for years, it doesn’t mean shit. One guy said, yeah I’ve been doing custom encolsures forever, and then I saw one of his and it looks like something a 1st grader would make out of popsickle sticks and paste. So, let’s see…you do custom work for you and your friends…Mad Mike does custom work for celebrities everyday…who should I really believe can do it right? Who would I go to, not you my friend…

But that doesn’t change the fact that my response doesn’t say anything about APC seats, but the company in general, which doing a search will provide you numerous opinions on. (This is what you asked for, by the way)
Then it sounds like your friends who do custom work are shit. That doesn’t mean my work isn’t good, so what have you negated here? Nothing.
If you think that only people who do work for celebritites can do quality work, then you are stupider than I previously thought. This statement only provides more evidence that people like you are stupid enough to fall for useless marketing bullshit. Who gives a flying fuck (aside from you, obviously) if someone does work for a celebrity?! I have been professionally trained by some of the best companies in the business, and yet I will probably never do a custom job for a celebrity. I have, however, done countless customer installs in cars and homes, some of those belonging to VERY wealthy people who work for my company (It’s just a little software company out here in Redmond, hint: You’re probably using our software as you read this). I suppose since they’re rich that adds credence to my abilities according to your scale right? WRONG. My work is quality, not because of who I do it for, but because it is quality. And that being said, I’d take my work over that of ‘Mad Mike’ any day of the week.
Anyway, on topic, APC sucks ass. They’re a low-quality company specifically marketed to people who want their cars to look ‘Fast and Furious’ on a very small budget. Their products have never been of good quality, and while you might find a person here or there that has had a reasonable amount of success with one of their products, the average consensus is that they are garbage. I would never put APC products in my car.

Ok, you still haven’t given me anything to make me believe you actually do quality work. You say “companies” and “people” but never tell who they are. It just sounds like you’re trying to make stuff up on the spur of the moment. Don’t piss down my back and tell me it’s rain, if you want to be taken seriously tell the NAMES of the people and companies. And, the fact that someone does work for celebrities does add credibility to their work. Because you’re telling me that these people who pay thousands for t-shirts that are perfect are going to go to some guy and have a crappy job done on their ride, the one thing that is probably seen the most besides themselves?
