Hey everybody, I’m new to the place, and this is my first post. I’ve got a few questions. I have a 92 Teg 5-speed and about 3 weeks ago bought a blue AEM cold air intake, and of course I want aftermarket blue plug wires to match the intake. Well, I ran across some new NGK Blue plug wires for 90-93 Tegs for about $30. NGK is a reputable brand, so I figure they would be good aftermarket plug wires, but I’d love to hear any opinions on them, especially from anybody who has them. Also, I’ve been looking at exhaust systems for my Teg, and a guy at a local tuner shop will give me a great deal on an Apexi N1 exhaust and replace the piping with 2.25" from the cat converter to the exhaust. I would also love any input on this exhaust before buying it. Anybody who has an Apexi N1 muffler please post pros/cons about the exhaust and the exhaust sound (since i haven’t heard one on a Teg). Thanks everyone.
You’ll be fine with NGK. Going with Neuspeed, Accel, and other so-called “performance” wires are just a waste of money, unless you’re force-inducing air into your motor…IMHO.
Good luck,
Oz
Hey thanks for the input on the NGK wires. Anybody have any opinions on the Apexi N1 exhaust??? HELP
Try a search in the Product Reviews forum. They might have a few posts on it… I Know i’ve seen it mentioned a few times. Good luck!
