are all b series flywheels the same?

i’m in need of a new flywheel and found a good deal on a 96+ LS lighten flywheel for cheap.
need to know if I can run it on my 91 engine and 92 tranny?
feel like this is a dumb question since I used to run a 00 itr with a 91 jdm Y1 tranny, it’s been almost a year since it was stolen and stripped so I’ve been kinda out of the Honda scene.
feels good to be back.

a quick google search brought up this.

"yeah theyre the same.
Only difference in b series flywheel is the weight, type-r 's are 3lbs lighter. "

The Internet can be a great resource…just have to know how to look…

90-91 clutch spline shaft are smaller compared to 92+. Also gear ratios are different but that is different topic and can be found with GOOGLE- HonDA9v

all b series are the same the only thing that changes would b the clutch cable n hydro are diffrent

There are more differences than that, but as far as I know, they’re minor.

Input shaft diameter is completely independent and unrelated to flywheels.

All b series flywheels are interchangeable. Doesn’t matter what engine or trans you’re running.

It was in reply to HondaDA9. He posted 10 seconds after me and I edited it to correct him.

no correction needed brah. like i said all b series r the same

your saying b series are the same, then go off and say “the only thing that changes would b cause the clutch cable n hydro are different”

There are more differences to b series transmissions than just being cable and hydro. Thats what I’m correcting you on, “brah”.

Why is everyone even talking about transmissions, I don’t understand how that topic even came up, it’s irrelevant. Any comment about transmissions being different (other than to say “there are differences but they’re irrelevant”) is a waste of time and just confuses people.

thanks guys I’ve been out the Honda game since last July when my type r swapped Gs was stolen, gutted and stripped. I completely walked away from the scene till a month ago, i’m emotionally ready to bring my shell back to life.

welcome back
