I wanted to know your guys opinions on glow gauges. I used to have a set in my Civic and I thought they looked good but then I got a German cluster and then I took them out. They are more like reverse halo gauges not glow gauges that glow one color. Tell me what you think.

Hahah yeah but nothing is better than highschool poonany on the side when you’re married!!! LOL 
I’ve never messed with the gauges before and the instructions look painful… but guess I’ll give it a try since you said it looks alright in your civic. :rockon:
Let me find some pics. It is not that hard to do. You just remove your cluster, test fit everything, replace the cover, and cut the parts that are in the way of the cover. It takes about 45 minutes to do it right. Have scissors, razor blade, and exacto knife set ready.
Yeah get some pics. I’ve never like the other type of glow face gauges… the ones that glow altogether… I think those are rice… but these reverse ones looks sweet… just like the gauges in the new jettas and passat.

Never. If you all knew that I was really a nice guy who loved Rotas my street cred would go to shit, and with my rap album about to be released, it’d be a suicide career move.
I have the same set in my DA they only look good in blue, if you switch it to green there are some parts of the face that stay blue so they really look blue, green, and red.
Easy ass install though, sometimes my temp gauge sticks, you just tap the cover and it goes to normal

Well I just finished the install and it was easier than I thought, it just took time. I am writing a DIY with lots of pics so I will post it when I am done.
I have a set in my car. I think that it looks great at night. I just like white gauges better. I think they are easier on you eyes. I have 2 kids and pushing 30. I’m not cool.

Here are the night pics. 1st one with digital cam and 2nd and 3rd taken on cellphone.
Do what I did. Dismantle your cluster, and install all Phantom Series Auto Meter guages. Now thats what I did. Nothing that a good 7 hours of work will do for you.
