So i have had no luck finding a u.s. version arm rest for my da, i saw a dc armrest in a pic of a da gsr and was wondering before I go and buy one what mods will I have to make so it will fit. I really do not want a hack job here I have worked hard to keep my interior really nice and want to keep it that way. So if anyone has any idea or pics of this please help.

oh I am also doing some seach else where so please do not say there is a seach button.

If you want to use a dc armrest. You probably have to remove the seat belt on the side of the front seat because the seat belt will be in the way. You might have to swap seat belt with the dc seat. Good luck!
I am in the process of designing an armrest for a 90-93 integra that will have a cup holder along with a storage compartment. I will post picture when I am done with it. I did the sketch of the armrest I just need to build it. I am using foam to build the model. I’m thinking of using steel for the skeleton and use fiberglass or carbon fiber for the skin. I will start with fiberglass for a prototype. I am not sure how many people are interested. Let see what they think with my finished armrest. I really hate not having a cup holder in my integra. Picture will come soon.

aznloverz65, I have debated about the same thing. I have the knowledge and resources to fab a armrest up, I just dont have the time. I went to College for Mechanical Engineering and the family business is auto reupholstery . I wish you luck with the armrest and hope it all works out. I look forward to seeing your product!

Thanks guys i found a usdm leather one from a gsr and prob paid to much but its ok. But I am looking in to doing the cdm seatbelt conversion should I ever find one for sale but you know how it goes.

Will an arm rest out of a RHD XSi work in a US DA without modification? Ive seen some on ebay for sale at good prices.

It will if you get the manual seatbelt conversion, but it needs modification so no. Look through 90-93 accords, they have the same style armrest but different mounting locations. Really easy to install

I heard that a Fit armrest may be similar size. At least worth looking into if you need one. I was thrilled when I got my GSR and the guy didn’t mention it had an armrest and I thought I was going to have to spend forever finding one.
