ATTN: Dan

I had a question about my oxygen sensor that I have a feeling you would have the answer to. First off, this summer I swapped a b16 in my teg. I love it, but I have had the check engine light on since then. It is for my oxygen sensor. Right now I have a DC header for a 92-93 teg when my teg is a 90. Don’t ask me why, it was the stupid ass shop that decided to do it that way. I really didn’t care at the time, so I let them go ahead. Anyway, do I have to run two oxygen sensors up by the radiator or can I figure something out with the one down by the cat? Is this cutting performance only running one sensor? I know it is killing my gas mileage. Any advice would be great.

p.s. what adaptor do I need for my electric oil pressure sender?

Thanks a ton!

Anyone?

You can do one of two things, and one of them I’ve only heard about. You can either run a secondary O2 sensor (have a O2 bung welded into your test pipe or cat), or you can (and this is the one I’m unsure about) splice in both wires into the one O2 sensor. So the ECU is getting feedback to both O2 Sensor lines.

And the thing I’m positive about, is that the adapter you need is a 1/8" BSPT (male) to 1/8" NPT (female) adapter for the oil pressure switch. Let me know if you have any questions. Later.

That is the same fix that I recommended someone else to try. I just cant remember who it was…
In theory it should work, but in actuality I have yet to test it.
