The driver side seat belt is stuck at the open door position and when the door closes it does not want to come back. The passenger side works fine and I have no clue what is going on. It used to work perfectly fine. I put a volt meter to the two wires going to the seatbelt along the pillar, and it read 10volts with door closed or open. Voltage did not change. Also i somehow pulled the buckle to the position as if the door was closed and opened the door and they seatbelt will move back to the open position, so i know the motor in it is working fine. Any suggestions of what i should take a look at now? Anyone with the wiring diagram, or could it be the seatbelt controller box messing up?

REALLY LIFE TIME WARRANTY? lies… I have this same problem. Will Acura fix it for free? It just happened to me today. I was scared for my life as I drove 15 miles to work. Now I have another 15 milesh ome :-x
I’m a tech at an Acura dealer and yes the seatbelts are lifetime warranty. I’ve done about a dozen of them. They’re a pain in the ass but it’s free for the customer. Actually I had to do it on my own about 3 months ago
