just wondering if anyone has tested and/or tried the pro series and/or the “X” series… I gave the original one with the flat key to a friend and was wondering which one is better… supposedly the pro series has a bulletproof lock… :shrug:
They both work the same… I have the basic autolock… and i don’t even use it…
i have the more expensive one. i only use it when i park somewhere i don’t usually park, or when the car is gonna sit for a while. both work the same.
If you ever been or lived in Newark Nj you’d know that no matter which one you have they both don’t do squat as far as security is concerned. Just my 2Cents

cool thanks for the replies I guess that the flat key autolock is obsolete and is easily picked so my advice to anyone is that if you are going to get one then get the one with the cross shaped key. I think thats the newer auto x and autolock pro types. or if you have the old flat key one then I would suggest getting the newer one. I know that any autolock can be bypassed but hey… these things are just to slow thieves down not to stop them because if they want your car they will get your car… haha:lock:

its not obsolete… they still make it (the flat key version). the pro and x version is the same thing with a tubular or barrel key… not a cross style key… which can be easily picked as well… just because they say its bullet proof doesnt mean its pick proof either
the flat key one is probably the worst one to get. my buddy has one and his key got worn down from everyday use and now he’s able to use it on everyone else’s that has a flat key kind. i got the one with a circle key, i know people have picked those too, but its better because i don’t have the flat key one.
so yeah i’ll have to agree with, that it’s not going to save your car, it’ll just slow them down.
