thanks for everything guys…I got the dealership to finally accept the warranty, BUT since I’m not the original owner of my 92 Integra RS…they want me to pay $95 for labor to diagnosis. They said if they don’t find that any past owner cut any wires or altered anything then I can get the refund and they replace the faulty components. I’m a little nervous, because I feel as if there gonna look really hard to find the smallest thing wrong. The past owner did some weird shit to the car electrically, so if it was altered I would be a little pissed but I would somehow see it coming. So it looks like I probably just have to pay the $95 and hope for the best.
Glad to hear! i may try this sometime…unfortunately the integra is 100 miles away.
Did they try and charge you guys a fee for a diagnostic to see if the seat belt assembly failed due to us not the car?
They would charge me labor $105 if they found any problems. But none found so I didn’t have to pay that.
I swear that warranty said “free labor charge”
But did they give me a diagnostic fee? no. Just a labor charge of $105. Assholes
My DB1 had its driver’s side seat belt replaced in April and they lent me a free 2008 TL for a week while it was being repaired via warranty.
i see you’re in socal. Which dealer did you take it to?
I took mine to South Coast Acura. They weren’t going to replace it initially, but after they realized I wasn’t leaving without talking to the manager, they agreed to “repair it and let Acura pay for it”
Did anyone have the ECU or ICU replaced by acura in this?
