Aux gauge hook up question

ok i searched and saw that i can hook up my take to a wire off the distributer
but can i hook it to the other end of the wire i mean splice the wire in at the back of the gauge cluster also for a water temp gauge can i hook that up on the back of my cluster to use the stock sending unit ?

Yes, tach can be connected at the back of cluster.

Unless the “water temp gauge” you have has been calibrated for use with a stock sending unit, you will need to use the sending unit that came with the gauge.:think:94

The water temp sender runs to the tach basically… You cannot interrupt the stock sender as it will mess with your pcm, so you have to either make a t fitting to supply both, or tap into the coolant line I believe.

How has everyone else run the water temp sender for a aux gauge pod?
