Hi everyone on this site…I have a question to ask im about to buy this RHD da front clip and do a RHD on my DB2 the RHD clip is an auto, now I owned a 93 DB2 and its a stick and is it possible to conver this setup…will everything both rite on like the cluster and wires…and also are the rhd auto da the same as the rhd manule da…I think ill just be like converting a rhd manule clip on a u.s. car just that its a auto…

my friend converted his EG to RHD and he said that the stock wiring for his hatch was just flipped (meaning instead of going tfrom the ECU on the right to cluster on left he flipped the wiring to go from ECU on left to the cluster on the right)…
he also said when when he picked up his front clip that the guy that worked there said that the RHD auto’s have some kinda clip that only the automatics have and that it probably wont be able to be converted the 5spd cause of it…
not to familiar with RHD auto’s to RHD 5spd"s but maybe this can help you with what answers your looking for…
damn where can i find these rhd clips at i really want to start a rhd project and that auto one would be perfect cause my car is auto… damn but ya as for the converting thing!!! i dont know should be ok i mean dont they convert auto to manual in japan!!!
^^^thats a good question…but i think my friend bought his RHD clip somewhere in abiline or houston…he said the ware house had all kinds of front clips and different JDM stuff…
I think the clips are all the same regardless whether its a stick or auto. The only difference your gonna find i believe are the mounts, pedal assembly, the cluster, shifter, and tranny obviously. And maybe the wiring harness. Im not sure if you can use the usdm one on a rhd clip. Dont quote me on that one.
Thanks everyone, Well in that case does the U.S. pedal assembly and the cluster just plug and play or well you need the jdm parts???
i emailed this guy about the clip, i wanted to pick it up for the interior only, he wasnt willing to part out.
yup, all thats plug n play. just swap all your stuff like your pedal assembley and cluster from your db2. Yea when i said difference, i was reffering to auto to manual, like the mounts are different for an automatic than the manual ones.
i dont understand why they dont just take out the front window. i’ve only sen them hack it up
i have that key! lol
