I am trying to remove the left axle (90 integra) from the half-shaft by prying at the bearing mount between the two parts. It will not come apart! How much force is normally required to pop out the axle? I am using a 12inch prybar. Any other suggestions appreciated.
Just keep trying. When I do axles I use a screwdriver that is about 12" long to pry it off… Sometimes it just takes more “convincing”…

I have been trying for 2 days! Is it possible the clip is damaged inside?
Maybe, but it will still come out. It probably wasnt lubed up last time it was installed and is now seized in there. Try a hammer and chisel or something like that and give it a good whack. That will probably do it.

Werd on the screwdriver … I have a large flathead I used … just tap it in, give it a hard twist, and it should pop … I noticed the passenger side is tougher than the drivers tho.
A ball joint seperator works every time for me. It looks like a huge tuning fork. A couple taps with a hammer should pop the axle loose.
