$149.00 for a quality axle is a good price. All aftermarket auto parts store ones are garbage. I always replace my boots when they tear,or snatch off whatever joint I need if they fail. The key is to keep the factory center shaft with the vibration dampener (rubber insulated dounut that’s mounted on the center shaft). In some cases where the axle center shaft splines have been damaged,I’ve acually disassembled the new axle shaft assembly (aftermarket) and taken the vibration dampener off the damaged center shaft (old oem axle) and placed it in the center of the new axle’s center shaft and have the same results as rebuilding an OEM one.
What kind of warranty does Raxles offer?
While I understand the issues with asking informative questions on a forum that is designed for such…think of how nice it will be in the future for people to come across this thread with all the information that is relevant to the OP all in one thread.

Haven’t been here for a long time, so no I did not see your build thread.
If you had “dough”, you probably wouldn’t be on G2IC to begin with… 
That said, DSS and Raxles both offer good products as far as I’m aware. DSS axles definately hold up to some crazy abuse.
i drive a db1 by choice not by force…for people watching the build ive put thousands into her in a VERY short amount of time, and theres plenty more to come i love the db1, and well my db8 gsr as well lol
