Axles. I have gone through 3 sets in the past 2 years! I took my car to Intec Racing in Kent and they discovered that my motor mounts are most likely the cause of my repeating axle problem… Great… So they quoted me around 900$ to get everything done… I have a b16 sir II swap with a full hydro tranny conversion, which I guess makes it more expensive in the long run… What do y’all think? Have you had similar experience with your DA? Any links to good axle manufacturers / motor mounts? Any input is greatly appreciated.
done… ;)
Agreed. Raxles are awesome. I’ve been running them on my car for nearly 15yrs now and am on my 3rd set. The first set wore out since I was lowered 3"+ the second set had probably 100k miles put on them, then the car sat for a few years and then turned into a track car and finally developed a minor vibration at speed. This was very recently, called up Raxles and they sent me a new set. Great product, great customer service.
Just call or email to find out, it’ll only take a second and there’s no pressure or anything. Marty is a nice guy and shouldn’t have any issues answering any questions you have. I bought mine so long ago that I don’t remember the cost, plus it’s likely changed anyway. They’re gonna be a lot more than getting Autozone reman axles or something like that, but the quality is WAY better. The only advantage to the Autozone option is that when your axles fail once a year you’ll always have a store locally where you can quickly exchange them.
odd I found this… I change the axles in my teg 12 times… its not you mounts I have poly mounts and I still have axle problems. THAT I fix but lets go back 6 years the axles I had the boot rip and I ran them dry they started to click blah blah blah…
I changed them with after market ones and after about 4 mouths the car started to shake badly so I change them again. week later same thing. so I change them again… then I went to Pro Street Imports and ask them if they can get me axles.
they said yes we can get you stage 1s I said order them they look like oem that someone rebuilt but I put them in they lasted me 6years…
Last week I needed to change my axles. so I got some after market ones and the car started to shake soon as I took off…
I was like its been so long maybe they fix the problem hell no…
I kept my old axles and I order cv joints it fix my problem so far…
I found a post on club integra that said that only Napa axles works.
After market axles can not handle aggressive driving…

By aftermarket you mean?
What’s so special about Napa? Brand new ones cost the same there as they do at autozone…
Considering they are like $200 a piece if you were to get them from a dealer…which I don’t even know if you can. There is no way the quality is even close.
Do you have coilovers ? Strange thing i was so ready to get rayaxles and i got my car corner weighed i just had it lowered by my eyes and measuring tools i made for it, so it was off by like 6 turns on one side in the front i think but anyways after this the car no longer made any poping axle sounds its like if they are uneven then they made all kinds of sounds. So just a thought i payed 150 for the corner weigh cheaper then the axles i dont got originals axles to.
What kind of price does that place run?
You have to call them and I find that unfair considering I am just wanting to know for the future.
How is calling them for a price unfair?? Really, I mean all you gotta do is pick up the phone and ask for a price quote on the axles, or if you don’t feel like calling cause of minutes, no phone, or just cause your lazy, then send them an email about it, doing it that way is no different than commenting on here and waiting for a reply.
To OP I always go with raxles and hasport or innovative mounts. Only other axles I like using would be an OE axle. When I just don’t care about how long its going to last, I take a previous one bought from autozone and return if for a brand new one (gotta love that lifetime warranty).

It would be cause if I am just looking for a price and am not going to buy anytime soon. I’m not going to call and have them do their thing or give me a pitch just so I can hang up. So hence why asking what someone else paid is a better choice considering the thread is about that. Maybe I’m the only one who works sales and knows how annoying it is for a potential customer, who is not ready to buy, to just call for price and hang up, never to be heard from again. Especially if those people work on any type of commission.
It’s not lazy, it’s courtesy. I know that doesn’t exist much anymore so it tends to confuses some people.
You aren’t going to get some sales pitch over the phone. I agree their prices should be on the website, but they aren’t so they’re used to dealing w/ phone calls and emails. Marty is a really nice guy and isn’t gonna pressure you into buying and should gladly answer any questions you have, including just the price.

God forbid if u ask a question. Lol has nothing to do with being lazy. Forgive me for thinking i could ask a simple question n get a simple answer but its okay to post topics with questions dat have been answered a million times.
Mods seriously need to close or edit this thread as it’s only creating more “BS” and striving away from being informative to being stupid and a waste of broadband.
speaking objectively, DAprojectTuRtle just call up raxle axles and be done with it. There’s no reason to argue on why not or why it’s unfair that raxle axles does not post it’s price on the web. It is what it is, and there’s no way around it; just call up the place. They won’t get upset or pressure into a sale, though I can see what you’re saying, but in the end it’s a business and as always people will flake and others will not. Why not rise to the occasion, and call up the place and post their prices for others to see instead of being counterproductive? Not only myself, but other members has also contributed to attempt you to direct you in the right direction, but it should not rely on us to tell you everything and spoonfeed every answer to you. If you’re really interested in it, you, yourself has to also take the initiative to search further into the subject. That’s how you’re able to learn new information which is how I and many other members became so knowledgeable with said information. And honestly, it gets old real fast to reply to the same questions over and over because someone did not take the time to search. This topic has also been covered many times before as well…just saying.
Just my $0.02, and good luck! And again, if you do get the price post them up for others to see!
