Lots of guys swore by switching to an ITR shifter. Says once you’ve switched… you’ll never wanna go back… just like when you go black

seems to me like the dudes with the itr used the shifter and the linkage.i dont want to change my linkage.besides,im sure i can get what im looking for with a short shifter and bushings designed specifically for the da.i found a dual b&m for $60 shipped.i cant find a skunk2 for less then $100.
if money is an issue…go with the B&M dual bend…had it in my car and it was nice but it had a rattle every now and then(pretty common for the B&M, im guessing it has something to do with having to utilize the stock shift lever bearing, i dunno). on that note, im assuming you broked ur aftermarket short shifter correct? if that’s the case, u’re gonna need a stock shifter, if you don’t have one already because the B&M shifter requires that u use you stock lever bearing, just to let you know. skunk2 dual bends are nice but it does cost more. up to you!!!
Its been covered a bizillion times there are mod’s involved in making a dual bend work in our cars regardless of doing the full itr swap or not. Something about the ball needing to be smaller if you don’t want to swap the linkage out. Any who I had the single bend B&M for about 3 years before I snapped it in half. which i believe was do to the type of shift knob I was using not the quality of the part cause it did last me three years when I was watching friends break the ebay ones every weekend. Well good luck to ya just thought id throw my 2 cent in
