b&m shifters help

Hey g2ic im just about to buy a b&m shifter but do not know what is better a straight or a single bend can I get opinions please…

I use a straight B&M short shifter, I love it. Gear engagement is precise and it has a strong solid feel. I’ve driven my friends DA with the single bend, I honestly noticed no difference. Per B&M there is a 30% throw reduction with the bend, and a 28% reduction with a straight shifter. Hence the reason I couldn’t feel a difference with a margin of only 2%. Honestly it comes down to preference in style. The cost is usually the same for both. I will say the quality of B&M is second to none. Happy Holidays!

in my opinion…dont get the straight nor the single bend…go for the DUAL bend. it’s set up like the straight shifter but with the dual bend, it relocates itself closer to the driver. also, looks the best handsdown.

oh ok so i see deres not much difference in the driving but how are the looks can somebody please provide me with some already installed in the car…thanks for the advice and answers g2ic

here’s a link to the “Shift knob” thread…just look around, im sure ur questions will be answered in there

thanks for the link db1st i saw all the setups im going for the dual bend like u said hope it works imma use the stock nob at beginning until i buy me like a skunk2 knob or something thanks again

If I may, why not run with a Fidanza short shifter? Mine is rated to a 35% reduction and only cost me $35 shipped.

i just put a dual B&M shifter in my Integra, i like it a lot. i defently recommened it.

Well i just went and bought it today i cant wait 2 install ill post pics with the before and after pics im goin 2 use the stock knob until i can manage 2 buy a weighted knob but thanks 2 everyone
