I have heard alot about how the B&M shifters rattle, but what about other ones? do they rattle? and last- do you know of any short shifters that don’t rattle?
Thanks!![]()

my B&M shifter has no such rattle. i’ve got ES shifter bushings, a sparco shift knob, and i left my heat sheild off. i installed it myself and have had absolutly nothing wrong with it. IMO the best shifter you can get.
thanks, I actually plan on getting it any way, it sounds like the best short shifter for the money. just wondering what every body else out there thought. Thanks ![]()
Well I bought a TDM (taiwanese domestic market) short shifter and it never rattles. It works perfectly fine and I had 1 in my old teg and now this 1. Best of all it’s was only $15.

I posted this too on honda-tech.com and they were saying that the B&M short shifter, or the 50 or 60 dollar one doesn’t shorten the throw very much. but no one on their said about a G2 specifically, did you guys notice a big diffrence? need to know thanks! ![]()
B&M reduces the throw by 2" i believe. there is a difference, but you get used to it quickly. everytime i let a friend drive my car for the first time they’re like wtf? and a few even stalled it a couple times(damn n00bs:lol: )
