i just installed it last weekend and it is awsome. i installed the b&m bushing kit with it and it lets you angle it. it is about 2 inches shorter in length then the stock shifter. The best part about it is i got my heat sheild back on. i just put the heat shield back on and yanked down on the part ware it touched the shifter.
Is the shifter itself SS or aluminum? I’m looking for a SS one rather than alum, and I think b&m makes one, wondering if that was the one you got
yeah the one i got is stainless steel. the weight of the ss makes it feel balanced.
I also have a b&m shifter. However mine is the “EDGE” shifter which is not adjustable like d3’s is.
i really like how my shifter performs. It only cost me $55 shipped, plus another $15 shipped for the shift stabilizer bushings. Definitely worth the money IMO —especially because you can find them for even cheaper now!
I have the non-adjustable one as well, and I love it. great shifts and a great price.
just installed the edge shifter this morning. I bought b&m’s shift stabilizer bushings too which allowed for neutral position adjustment. Neutral sits in just about the same spot the stock one did… but the knob sits lower obviously. The shifts are much shorter now, I recommend the edge shifter. Everything feels very solid.
